Last night, my sister threw me a bon voyage party at Alio, a nice bar with a fire place and pool table. 14 of my friends came to say good bye, some of whom I've known for 13 years. As you can see by these photos, we had a few drinks and all of us had a great time laughing, joking and hanging out. They can be a bit goofy, but they are way cool. I am gonna miss everybody.

Preparing for the adventure of a lifetime

On January 3, 2007, I am leaving my cushy public relations job at an insurance company and flying to Bangkok, Thailand for year-long adventure in Southeast Asia. I will spend much of my time in Cambodia, where I was born 31 years ago. But I will also take this opportunity to explore this region -- Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, the Philippines and more. I have no set plan other than to follow my heart.
